As you all know that 55 % of our communication depends on Body language, Body language is really very powerful, if you notice someone’s body language you can understand a lot about them and about their thinking, Body language is more powerful than words,
As it says, PEOPLE MAY NOT ALWAYS TELL YOU HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT YOU, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS SHOW YOU… SO PAY ATTENTION.
when someone is angry or sad or in love, all these emotions and feelings can be seen through body language.
Today I will share some body language techniques through which you’ll find easy to understand someone’s body language.
1. Eyes Don’t Lie
to know whether a person smile is genuine or fake or they are just trying to hide their actual feeling and thinking, a real genuine smile reaches the eyes, it crinkling the skin to create crow’s feet around them, the mouth can lie but eyes can never, a genuine smile can be seen through eyes. to know whether the person actually smiling try to notice crinkles in the corners of their eyes.
if someone copies your posture or your body language, don’t mind it, if someone is copying your body language it means they are interested in that conversation and they have a good bond with you and they are connecting with you. Copying body language or mirroring is something we do unconsciously because we are finding that connection and bond with another person, so basically it’s a good sign, to know more about this technique is known as mirroring you can watch my SeeKen (youtube channel) video, in that video I have explained this concept more nicely.
3. Notice Posture
If you go out for a meeting, and see someone sitting next to you, is taking less place to sit, through this you can understand that either that person is nervous about something or his self-esteem is really low,
someone sitting with crossed legs and crossed arms is also a sign of discomfort and stress, usually people who are confident they take more place to sit and to stand, people with less confidence and people who are sad usually take less place.
people who walk straight usually they are confident about themselves compare to people who don’t walk straight.
4. Notice Tone Voice and Laugh
while having a conversation with someone try to notice their tone voice, through voice and tone you can understand a lot about person’s feeling, whether they are excited talking to you, or they sound low energetic.
5. Tensed Body Language
A clenched jaw signals discomfort, stress, and worry, maybe they are conscious or not comfortable about a particular topic. Sometimes what happens you ask someone about something and suddenly you can notice a sudden change in their expression. This can be the sign that may be they are not very much interested about that particular topic. Or their mind is else where or they are not much into that conversation and thinking about something else.
There is a saying “ YOUR BODY LANGUAGE SPEAKS THE TRUTH EVEN WHEN YOUR MOUTH LIES.”
DO COMMENT AND SHARE, if you want to understand this topic”body language more in detail then can go to my SeeKen (youtube) channel I have made a summary video for this.
