scientific evidence of chakras

Is there any Scientific Proof of Chakras?

Ancient Eastern cultures have detailed descriptions of energy centers in the body called chakras. But is there scientific proof or evidence of chakras?

If so, can these energetic areas be the key to lowering stress and curing illnesses?

In 1975 professor of Kinesiology at UCLA Dr. Valerie Hunt recorded radiation emanating from the body in areas traditionally associated with the Chakra points.

She also recorded sound wave frequencies and colors associated with the chakras, which corresponded to the ancient Indian tradition established.

Dr. Valerie Hunt was able to record the chakras that are, of course, in the body, and they also extend beyond the body and determine the colors of them and their sounds.

They’ve proven that these flow through the body, and we can’t see them with an x-ray, but scientists have used radioactive isotopes that track the movement.

There have also been studies on the energy channels that lead to the Chakras called Nadis’ chakras in Indian traditions.

In the 1980s, two French researchers injected radioactive technetium into the patients’ acupoints and used nuclear scanning equipment to follow the technetium.

When the proper acupoints were injected, the radioactive technetium followed the exact pathways as the acupuncture Meridians in the old charts of Chinese acupuncture.

The word chakra comes from the Indian Sanskrit word for wheel. This describes the round vortex-like energy centers along the Sushumna Nadi, which runs along the human body’s spine.

The chakras are essentially storage places for vital energy forces that connect the physical body to the auric field’s layers.

Each chakra operates at a specific frequency, which determines its color and characteristics.

Most familiar is the seven chakra system starting with the root chakra at the base of the spine and moving up to the crown chakra at the top of the head.

However, there are many more chakras that you can work with within and around the body.

Many different chakra systems are taught by other practices and by different practitioners. Five chakra systems, six, seven, nine chakra systems, twelve chakra systems up to twenty-one or even a hundred and eight chakras- if you include all these subtle energy centers in the body’s various limbs.

Practitioners use a tool called a pendulum to read the chakras. When a chakra is in balance, energy is free-flowing and spinning clockwise at a constant medium rate.

When it is spinning counterclockwise or if it is spinning too rapidly or too slowly or not at all. These are all indications of an out-of-balance chakra.

There is now additional technology available to assist in reading the chakras.

A new device called the Bio-Well invented by Russian scientist Konstantin Korotkov can scan the chakras from a person’s fingertips using an electro photonic imaging technique. Reading is then registered by a computer program and analyzed by a practitioner to see what is out of alignment.

Experts say that out-of-balance chakras can manifest as physical illnesses or emotional imbalances when we are not aligned with our life experiences.

The chakras cannot roll, and that stuck the chakras, and it becomes an illness.

Every process that we think is something terrible that is happening to us is not because someone is sending that to us. This is because we are stuck in the process of not understanding why this experience is happening.

Chakra Imbalance- Effects, Causes, and Solutions

Past psychological issues from traumas and difficulties and challenges and neglect, are lodged in our psyche, they’re lodged in the energetic patterns of the body, and they affect and imbalance our chakras.

Take, for example, the heart chakra. If you were abandoned or rejected or neglected or you lost a parent at a crucial time in your life, that may have affected the energetic programming of your heart chakra.

The effect of that could show up in your relationships, could show up in your ability to be vulnerable, or just the ability to go through life with an open heart.

And as we look at these blockages in the heart, we can see that someone may have overcompensated, making an excessive chakra, meaning that if they didn’t get enough love, they have to be the center of attention, and have to be social all the time.

Or they may have gone deficient, which is an avoidant response, saying, “Well, I’m just not going to have relationships. I am just going to isolate and be alone.”

But both of these are a type of imbalance in the chakras. When the chakra is balanced, we are compassionate, we’re loving, we’re generous, we feel spacious inside, and relaxed and connected inside to ourselves and outside to what’s around us.

The problems of stress, anxiety, and depression have their signature in the energetic processes of the body.

We might have too much energy and not know how to control it. We might have too little. And this can show up in physical problems as well.

So take an imbalance in the root chakra, our chakra of survival. That can often show up as weight issues, being chronically overweight or underweight. The overweight would be an excessive defense, saying, “I don’t feel safe unless I have a big body to store all this energy.” Or being underweight might be saying, “I don’t really want to be on the earth plane. I want to be light.” And each of those is a kind of unbalance.

When the chakra comes into balance, we have a sense of grounding, and stability. We feel healthy. We feel alive. And it helps to keep that grounding to make prosperity in our lives as well.

So a simple way to remember your ground is to stop and feel your legs as the roots that go down into the earth.

Take a breath, bend your knees, and push your feet into the ground. Roots push down into the earth, so push your feet into the ground, and say thank you for this life.

Now, chakras work with energy. Energy is inside us and it’s all around us. So part of healing and healing the spirit is to heal that universal connection between inside and out.

So take the heart chakra, one aspect of it is compassion, the ability to feel with, to have passion with.

When we have the judgment of ourselves or someone else, we’re not in that compassion. So you might look at what trait you typically judge in yourself. Where did that trait come from? And how can you look at it? what it was trying to do at the time and bring some forgiveness to that trait?

Through applying simple practices from yoga, bioenergetics, the study of psychology, and practices that we do out in our world, in interactions with other people, we can bring the chakra system as a system for wholeness back into balance once again.

So, how do you balance the Chakra, once its energy has gotten blocked, stagnant, or too open?

There 7 ways to correct imbalances of Chakras in the body:

  • Meditating on the outer balanced Chakra.
  • Eating Fruits that are of the same color or vibrations.
  • Using tuning forks or other instruments that hold the same frequency as the Chakra.
  • Working on the stuck emotions in the area of the chakra.
  • Doing certain Yoga, Tai Chi, or Ki Gong that stimulates the energy of the Chakra.
  • Using Herbs or essential oils.
  • Getting a reflexologyacupuncture or Reiki sessions.
